I am Chris Tekirian, owner and operator of CMT Sound Systems. I began working in the live production industry at the age of 16. Having been a musician since elementary school, I have the performer’s perspective as well as the audiences’ in mind when mixing for live events. In High School, I participated in an all student Big Band performing at outdoor festivals and street fairs where our music was enjoyed by thousands of people. During this time I also expanded to the entertainment industry as a DJ. Some events included weddings, sweet 16's and graduations. Business was growing by word of mouth, and in 2001, at the age of 18, I launched my own sound business. Over the years I have attended school for electrical and rigging. In 2004 and 2006 I was nominated by the NJACT for "outstanding sound design" in a community theater production.

As the company has grown, we have had the opportunity to serve our clients in a wide range of events and performances; from a small 3 piece bar band to a complex outdoor concert. Our business is always expanding with new and returning customers and because of that, our services now include sound, lighting, staging, mobile power, event production, equipment rentals and engineering.
